Why carry out a review?

Air quality represents a major health issue. In 2019, the Regional Health Observatory estimated its impact at 7 premature deaths per year in Île-de-France, or 900% of mortality in the region.
Monitoring air quality and knowing pollutant emissions thus makes it possible to inform citizens and decision-makers and prioritize action to reduce air pollution.
Every year, Airparif al’regulatory obligation to publish the annual report on air quality in Île-de-France. It provides, among other things, details on the exposure of Ile-de-France residents to air pollution depending on the pollutants and locations.
